At IFA 2023, we saw a variety of new technologies that will soon be in your hands and in your homes. From impressive PC gaming gear and projectors to accessories, smart lawn mowers and blockbuster TVs. Newsweek has selected our favorite new gadgets from a wide range of gadgets and gear.

It’s a global showcase, and while many of our favorite pieces gather in the United States, only a few are shown around the world. We expect to see this technology on store shelves in the coming weeks and months. To celebrate manufacturers exploring new form factors, we’re awarding one prototype wallet phone.

Here are 15 products that caught our attention at IFA 2023. As the exhibition in Berlin concludes, these are the products we are most looking forward to trying.

Lenovo Legion Go

Lenovo has entered the portable PC gaming space squarely with the Lenovo Legion Go. The Legion name is well known in gaming, and now it’s making its name on mobile too. The device looks a bit like a Steam Deck, and a bit like a Nintendo Switch with a removable controller. Play PC games and get a huge library of games with Xbox Game Pass. It features an 8.8-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600, up to 144 Hz, and 500 nits brightness. It is powered by Ryzen Z1 Extreme and has 16GB RAM.

Although the Honor V Purse is a concept phone, its fashion-forward attitude stands out. This folding mobile phone displays a variety of designs on the exterior screen, allowing you to choose one that matches your outfit. The strap is removable, so you can choose a style to suit the occasion. This device may never make it to market, but it’s exciting to see companies experiment with new form factors.

TCL X955

The TCL X955 is a 98-inch quantum dot mini LED TV that promises 5,000 nits of brightness and over 5,000 local dimming zones. It has significantly improved brightness and dimming control from previous models. You can also expect viewing angles to be significantly improved, which is important on a screen this big. Shure AONIC 50 Gen 2

Shure’s latest over-the-ear headphones include Shure’s new Spatial Audio, improved active noise cancellation, and promise up to 45 hours of battery life. Users can connect to her ShurePlus Play app to personalize their audio experience. Spatialized audio settings include his three experiences: music, movies, and podcasts. Shure Aonic 50 Gen 2 headphones are available now for $349.

EXGIMI HORIZON ULTRA
