Hobart’s ISW wins Tech Data and IBM One Percenter competition – Software

Hobart-based IT services company ISW has won the Tech Data and IBM One Percenters competition to develop an emissions reduction SaaS platform for EMC Australia.

The competition challenged IBM partners to create a custom solution using at least one product from the company’s software portfolio.

ISW’s platform was built using IIt won BM Hyperledger and IBM Cloud technology, beating out four other finalists who pitched their solutions to a panel of judges at IBM’s Sydney headquarters.

“We are proud to have won the Best of the Best – One Percenters Award from Tech Data and IBM,” said Ian Warner, Managing Director of ISW.

“It was a very tough competition, but we are honored to have won.”

ISW received $30,000 to promote the platform, invitations to speak at IBM events, and networking opportunities with IBM and technical data partners and customers.

“Now in its third year, the One Percenters program has unlocked real innovation from IBM’s Australian partner ecosystem.” Tech Data ANZ Director of Vendors and Alliances Ivan Hesimovich said.

“These people and companies have thought long and hard about solutions to real problems facing society and have developed solutions to solve them.”

“We couldn’t be more pleased with the results and look forward to supporting ISW on their journey to promote their solutions in the marketplace.”

“The standards this year were so high that five finalists were chosen instead of the usual four.”
