Many of America’s largest technology companies experienced layoffs earlier this year, but have bounced back with impressive growth.

Technology trade group CompTIA reported in March that the projected employment rate for technology jobs over the next decade is nearly double the national employment rate. The number of net new technical jobs is expected to exceed 270,000 this year.

Companies are required to disclose information when hiring foreign workers under the H-1B visa program, including salary (and in some cases salary range), and how much these tech giants are willing to invest in their talent. I know what it is.

So to get a sense of what industry pay is like these days, Insider analyzed the U.S. Foreign Labor Certification Office’s foreign permanent and temporary worker disclosure data and found that companies are hiring engineers, designers, designers, and more.
