Global distributor and solutions aggregator Tech Data has appointed Robbie Upcroft to lead its Microsoft business unit in Australia.
Mr Upcroft will join Tech Data ANZ’s Cloud Business Unit and work alongside leader Nicholas Jamsek, who will now head up the AWS Business Unit.

This appointment is aimed at further accelerating the growth of Tech Data’s cloud portfolio.

Upcroft joins from Microsoft Australia, where he spent more than two-and-a-half years as a senior partner development manager.
He has over 25 years of experience in sales and channel leadership positions in Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
