The pan-European rebrand comes 18 months after SYNNEX and Tech Data joined forces, giving the business a single identity across the region.
Last March, the distributors entered into a $7.2 billion definitive merger agreement, with the combined company expected to have sales of $57 billion and approximately 22,000 employees.
The APAC operations will not transition to branding at this time and will continue to operate as Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX company. You can access the same global resources as other regions.
Although this remains business as usual, the distributor saw this branding as an opportunity to emphasize that it could rely on global resources to support local activities.

The last rebrand took a while, with a 15-year gap between Tech Data’s acquisition of Computer 2000 and the name change.
