Citizen’s new watch uses NASA technology, AI to measure fatigue

Las Vegas: Citizen has unveiled a new CZ smartwatch at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023 that uses artificial intelligence (AI) and space agency NASA research to measure wearer fatigue and alertness.

The power of the new watch lies in the CZ Smart YouQ application, which allows users to not only understand and predict their own fatigue patterns, but also improve towards a healthier, more alert, and more rested lifestyle. You can receive recommendations on how to do so, ZDNET reports.

The application also allows users to take a customized “alert monitor” test daily to determine consciousness.

The test itself is a consumer version of NASA’s Psychomotor Alertness Task Test (PVT+), which measures astronauts’ mental acuity.

“The latest CZ smartwatch is a revolutionary product that combines Citizen’s watchmaking heritage with best-in-class research and technology from NASA and IBM, directly to the wearer’s wrist,” said President of Citizen Watch America. , said Jeffrey Cohen.

The more you use the watch, the more CZ Smart YouQ learns about you and provides more accurate predictions and tips.

“The CZ Smart PQ watch will be available in the US starting in March 2023 starting at $350,” the report states.
