Ultra-fast 3D printing

The key to both of QIDI’s new FDM 3D printers is their ultra-fast 3D printing speed. Both the MAX3 and PLUS3 models offer speeds of up to 600 mm/s and an impressive maximum acceleration of 20,000 mm/s². These ultra-fast speeds increase productivity, production efficiency, and save time. Additionally, the overall usage time is reduced, which reduces the environmental impact of 3D printers. QIDI recommends using copper alloy nozzles for best results when performing high-speed 3D printing.

How do QIDI , the operating speed will be increased. The CoreXY architecture also includes the TMC2209 silent drive, which significantly reduces noise during high-speed 3D printing.

QIDI Tech has incorporated a lightweight, hardened steel straight hollow optical axis into both 3D printers. This addition ensures that both the X-MAX3 and X-PLUS3 operate faster, with improved surface straightness and a 60% reduction in error deflection without any loss in 3D print quality. Additionally, the system is highly durable and does not require frequent maintenance. Optical shafts typically last a lifetime without needing to be replaced.

Both 3D printers include a new all-metal, highly stable frame. This new structure, which is reinforced with metal beams at the bottom and resists deformation, improves stability while enhancing the aesthetics of the product.

QIDI’s new cooling system and direct drive extruder also play a key role in ensuring ultra-fast 3D printing speeds. The cooling system reduces clogging and ensures smooth extrusion. Moreover, the high-speed hardened steel gear with a ratio of 9.5:1 can provide a powerful and stable flow rate of 35mm.3/s Fast 3D printing.

QIDI Tech’s open source Klipper firmware and QIDIslicer software enable easy and efficient remote control 3D printing. Additional custom features such as camera monitoring can also be achieved through QIDI Tech’s software. Click here for more information on camera installation. Klipper firmware also includes his KAMP feature to quickly ensure a perfect first layer on every 3D print.

Large format temperature controlled 3D printing

The new QIDI X-PLUS3 and X-MAX3 models are also notable for their build volume. X-PLUS3 boasts a large volume of 280mm*280mm*270mm, while X-MAX3 has an amazing size of 325mm*325mm*315mm. In fact, the X-MAX3 is said to have the largest closed-format 3D print size currently on the market. Both his 3D printers comfortably meet the 3D printing needs of users seeking to create large objects and expand the range of possible 3D printing applications.

Designed with rounded ceramic, the QIDI extruder nozzle heats from 20°C to 220°C in just 30 seconds and reaches a maximum temperature of 350°C. Two new hotends are available for both X-PLUS3 and X-MAX3. The new copper alloy nozzle has better thermal conductivity than regular brass, allowing for durable and smooth 3D printing of ABS, PLA, and PETG. QIDI’s hardened steel nozzles have a long lifespan and allow you to easily 3D print high-performance materials to a high standard.

Another notable feature of QIDI’s new X-PLUS3 and X-MAX3 3D printers is the new temperature-controlled build chamber. This chamber can heat up to temperatures of up to 65°C, preventing warping and cracking during the 3D printing process. Additionally, this precise temperature control system enables 3D printing with a wide range of high-performance materials such as PET-CF and PAHT-CF. Similarly, high 3D printing quality is ensured when using high-performance high-temperature materials such as ABS-GF and PETG.

The MAX3 also features a chamber circulation fan with an activated carbon air filter. This filters out smoke and particles that may be generated during the printing process, providing users with a clean and safe printing environment.

When 3D printing with ABS, PLA, and PETG, QIDI recommends users to use copper alloy nozzles as this ensures the best 3D print quality. Both 3D printers offer a 20% increase in 3D printing accuracy compared to the previous generation of his MAX2 models.

These features make QIDI’s new 3D printer highly competitive within the FDM 3D printer market. For example, both the PLUS3 and MAX3 models offer better print sizes and print speeds than the competing X1 Carbon 3D printer from Bambu Lab. Additionally, the X1 Carbon costs $1790.76, making both of QIDI’s new 3D printers significantly more affordable.
