Today, rail transport optimization company SP Tech Solutions has secured a new funding round of nearly €3 million from the Vinci HiTech fund.
Founded in 2019 by Michal Pawlowski and Piotr Sikorski, the company started with tools to optimize the transportation of traction crews and has expanded over the years to create a comprehensive system for optimizing the operations of railway companies. I’ve been building it.
Rail accounts for 17% of Europe’s land transport and is in line with the European Green Deal’s goal of significantly reducing transport emissions by 90% by shifting at least 30% of freight over 300 kg to rail or water transport. This figure is expected to rise by 2030 and reach 50% by 2050.
SP Tech Solutions’ Raily system suite is aimed at addressing the challenges of the rail industry and consists of three essential tools that can be used independently or as part of an overall package.
- Raily Taxi automates the process of organizing and optimizing the transportation of towing teams.
- Railly Cargo provides integrated management of rail resources and freight planning through business intelligence.
- Raily Marketplace is a platform for finding and booking traction services such as technical inspection of trains and hiring trained train drivers to operate on specific routes.
SP Tech Solutions’ revenue has increased by nearly 1000% over the past two years, reaching approximately EUR 9.52 million in 2023.

SP Tech Solutions has raised approximately €19 million from investors to date. Clients include PKP Cargo, Lotos Kolej, Olavion and Laude Smart Intermodal. The company also carried out its first project with a German company.
This funding round aims to strengthen our operations in the Polish market and further expand towards Western Europe. The plan includes developing AI-enabled technology and expanding his team by 50% with a focus on sales, marketing, and most importantly, development.
