Tech Data, a global distributor and solutions aggregator, has entered into a designated reseller (DSOR) agreement with AWS.
The agreement allows Tech Data to list its vendors’ products on AWS Marketplace, with Red Hat being the first vendor to participate.
With this agreement, Tech Data aims to provide channel partners with a simplified route to trading on AWS Marketplace, driving new cloud growth opportunities for both partners and vendors.
Red Hat allows partners to trade Red Hat solutions through AWS Marketplace while benefiting from the incentives they receive through traditional routes to market.
It also enables end users to procure Red Hat solutions and other vendor products directly from AWS Marketplace.
“Global sales of third-party vendor software and services through cloud marketplaces are expected to reach US$45 billion by 2025,” said AWS Business Unit Leader, Tech Data Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). said one Nicholas Jamsek.

In addition to DSOR agreements, Tech Data offers templated Red Hat bundled solutions powered by AWS.
These solutions are aimed at accelerating adoption and speed to market and will be available to all Tech Data and AWS partners.
