Belarus provides high-tech mobile clinic to Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe: President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa attended the handover ceremony. The ceremony was held as a donation to the great heart of the Angel of Hope Foundation for Health and Wealth in the Republic of Zimbabwe.
Sources said the donation was provided by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and received by First Lady Amai Auxilia Mnangagwa, wife of the Zimbabwean president.
The contribution reportedly included a high-tech mobile clinic with advanced gynecology and oncology examination units equipped with state-of-the-art colposcopy equipment. This device allows easier and earlier diagnosis of cervical cancer.
Our clinic is also equipped with a state-of-the-art digital mammography system. This system represents a major advance in the fight against breast cancer.
According to a report by the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting, ultrasound equipment is the third major component of mobile clinics. It plays an important role in patient diagnostic workup and investigation by providing easy access and accurate testing for diagnostic imaging and treatment.
In particular, mobile clinics serve patients at various locations within their respective communities, allowing for world-class healthcare delivery at the patient’s doorstep.
After attending the handover ceremony of the mobile clinic, Zimbabwe’s First Lady Dr Auxilia Mnangagwa and Professor Irina Abelskaya from Belarus toured the construction site of the soon-to-be-completed new women’s hospital in Harare’s Ashdon Park. .
